A custom built amphibious bus to ferry visitors from St-Vaast-la-Hougue on the mainland in Normandy, France tot the nearby coastal island Tatihou. At low tide the amphibious Tatihou 2 will drive this journey of a little over 2 km as an off road bus; at high tide it sails as a motor ferry between the continent and its’ nearby advanced lookout point. At sea it can sail in a straight line and this halves the distance to 1 km.
